Linden trees and the sky in Planina,… blue wallpaper Full HD

This is Linden trees and the sky in Planina,…, a dramatic blue wallpaper built around slate and charcoal tones. The frame is composed for 1:1, which is why it reads well on tablet without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1908 pixels in JPG (1.5 MB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards slate and charcoal, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A video call background works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 1:1 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Small details that help

• On a phone, place the subject in the upper half so your clock and notification stack do not cover the focal point.
• In a video call, this works well as a virtual background if you keep the subject clear of the frame edges.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.

Download options

You get a 1920 × 1908 JPG file (1:1, 1.5 MB). It is large enough for a tablet screen and for printing up to A3 (297 × 420 mm), and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
