Little Purple Flower flower macro wallpaper Full HD

This is Little Purple Flower, a dramatic flower macro wallpaper built around near-black and near-black tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1280 pixels in JPG (154 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards near-black and near-black, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A bright lock screen works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Styling tips

• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.
• Print it on matte paper: the near-black and near-black tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• Pair it with a low-contrast wallpaper on your phone so that app icons remain readable over the busiest part of the image.

What you get

The download is a 1920 × 1280 JPG image in 4:3 ratio (154 KB). Use it on a phone, print it at up to 16 × 9 in, or crop it for a post: the source resolution gives you room to crop without losing quality.
