Silk fold gradient minimalist wallpaper 4K

This is Silk fold gradient, a futuristic minimalist wallpaper built around lavender and lavender tones. The frame is composed for 16:9, which is why it reads well on desktop without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 3840 × 2160 pixels in JPG (55 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards lavender and lavender, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A tablet home screen works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 16:9 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Small details that help

• On a phone, place the subject in the upper half so your clock and notification stack do not cover the focal point.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches lavender and lavender so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.

What you get

You get a 3840 × 2160 JPG file (16:9, 55 KB). It is large enough for a desktop screen and for printing up to A3 (297 × 420 mm), and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
