Two Bacchantes and a Bull September 2015.1a aesthetic wallpaper Full HD

This is Two Bacchantes and a Bull September 2015.1a, a cold aesthetic wallpaper built around sand and lavender tones. The frame is composed for 16:9, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1229 pixels in JPG (532 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards sand and lavender, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A Pinterest board works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

How to use it

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 16:9 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Styling tips

• Add it as a calendar or task widget background if your device allows it, so the picture carries a reminder as well.
• In a video call, this works well as a virtual background if you keep the subject clear of the frame edges.
• Print it on matte paper: the sand and lavender tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.

Download options

The download is a 1920 × 1229 JPG image in 16:9 ratio (532 KB). Use it on a phone, print it at up to 16 × 9 in, or crop it for a post: the source resolution gives you room to crop without losing quality.
