Vintage Film Portrait Cultural Identity and… vintage wallpaper Full HD

This is Vintage Film Portrait Cultural Identity and…, a bright vintage wallpaper built around blush and lavender tones. The frame is composed for 3:4, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 2560 pixels in JPG (943 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards blush and lavender, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A music page works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Setting it up

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 3:4 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• Print it on matte paper: the blush and lavender tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.
• On a phone, place the subject in the upper half so your clock and notification stack do not cover the focal point.

What you get

You get a 1920 × 2560 JPG file (3:4, 943 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to 16 × 9 in, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
