Brown pelican in flight animal wallpaper Full HD

This is Brown pelican in flight, a bright animal wallpaper built around steel blue and deep green tones. The frame is composed for 4:3, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 1372 pixels in JPG (392 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards steel blue and deep green, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A kids tablet works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

How to use it

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 4:3 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• Print it on matte paper: the steel blue and deep green tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• In a video call, this works well as a virtual background if you keep the subject clear of the frame edges.
• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.

Download options

You get a 1920 × 1372 JPG file (4:3, 392 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to A4 (210 × 297 mm), and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
