Pearl sheen gradient 2 minimalist wallpaper 4K

This is Pearl sheen gradient 2, a calm minimalist wallpaper built around lavender and lavender tones. The frame is composed for 16:9, which is why it reads well on tablet without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 3840 × 2160 pixels in JPG (55 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards lavender and lavender, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A clean slide background works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

How to use it

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 16:9 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Small details that help

• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.
• Print it on matte paper: the lavender and lavender tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.

Download and resize

You get a 3840 × 2160 JPG file (16:9, 55 KB). It is large enough for a tablet screen and for printing up to 16 × 9 in, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
