Portrait Of A Lion lion wallpaper Full HD

This is Portrait Of A Lion, a dramatic lion wallpaper built around sage green and olive tones. The frame is composed for 1:1, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1856 × 1856 pixels in JPG (784 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards sage green and olive, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A desktop with a wide crop works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 1:1 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

How to make the most of it

• On a phone, place the subject in the upper half so your clock and notification stack do not cover the focal point.
• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches sage green and olive so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.

What you get

You get a 1856 × 1856 JPG file (1:1, 784 KB). It is large enough for a phone screen and for printing up to 8 × 10 in, and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
