Lion zoo Addis Ababa 2 lion wallpaper Full HD

This is Lion zoo Addis Ababa 2, a dramatic lion wallpaper built around olive and charcoal tones. The frame is composed for 3:4, which is why it reads well on phone without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 2560 pixels in JPG (1.3 MB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards olive and charcoal, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A wildlife documentary title card works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Setting it up

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 3:4 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Small details that help

• Print it on matte paper: the olive and charcoal tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• For a dual-monitor setup, use this one on the screen you read from and a flatter image on the screen you only glance at.
• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.

What you get

The file is served at 1920 × 2560 (3:4) in JPG format, so you can print it up to A4 (210 × 297 mm) or use it as a phone background without upscaling. The smaller preview is a separate optimised copy, while the full-size download keeps the original detail.
