Lion Wallpapers for Tablet — 16:10

11 images of Lion Wallpapers for Tablet (16:10) in high resolution. Free download, with the author and licence of every picture.

A tablet is usually propped up on a desk and looked at from a distance, which is a very different viewing condition from a phone held in the hand. The pictures on this page hold their detail at that distance, with large shapes and a clear subject instead of fine texture that disappears. They also stay calm enough to work next to, which is the part most wallpaper collections forget.

This page gathers 11 images from the Lion Wallpapers collection, chosen because they are composed in portrait, the orientation the Tablet screen uses (16:10). Every one of them is taller than it is wide, so the system crops almost nothing when it fills the screen.

The full files run from 1785 × 2223 to 1920 × 2880 pixels, and every card states the exact ratio of its own picture so you can check the framing before downloading. Your Tablet runs at 1600 × 2560 pixels, so a larger file is scaled down with no visible loss.

The list includes, among others, The lion king Tryggve in the Serengeti National Park Photo by Giles Laurent, Attributed to Anton Graff - Portrait of a Man with the Order of the Golden Lion, Panthera leo Colchester Zoo, DCNationalZooLion.

Every picture below was checked for resolution, framing and compression artefacts before it was published, so what you download is the version you saw in the thumbnail. Open any card to see the full metadata, the licence and the download link.

If you want a specific look, use the filters and the tags under each section. Narrowing by colour, device or mood is faster than scrolling, and the tag pages link to every related picture so you never hit a dead end.
