Lion Wallpapers for iPad — 3:4

7 images of Lion Wallpapers for iPad (3:4) in high resolution. Free download, with the author and licence of every picture.

An iPad is the one device where the wallpaper competes with real work: half the screen is usually covered by split view, a keyboard or a note-taking app. The images here are therefore picked for a clear focal point in one area and a calm area in the other, so the picture still has somewhere to breathe when you put a document next to it.

This page gathers 7 images from the Lion Wallpapers collection, chosen because they are composed in portrait, the orientation the iPad screen uses (3:4). Every one of them is taller than it is wide, so the system crops almost nothing when it fills the screen.

The full files run from 1920 × 2400 to 1920 × 2560 pixels, and every card states the exact ratio of its own picture so you can check the framing before downloading. Your iPad runs at 2048 × 2732 pixels, so a larger file is scaled down with no visible loss.

The list includes, among others, The lion king Tryggve in the Serengeti National Park Photo by Giles Laurent, Panthera leo Colchester Zoo, Darica Lion 07174, Darica Lion 07168.

The images are ordered by how recently they were added rather than by popularity, which keeps the collection fresh and gives every single entry a chance to be discovered by search engines and by image browsers.

Every picture below was checked for resolution, framing and compression artefacts before it was published, so what you download is the version you saw in the thumbnail. Open any card to see the full metadata, the licence and the download link.
