Head of Pluto the Horse by Wouter Verschuur… horse wallpaper Full HD

This is Head of Pluto the Horse by Wouter Verschuur…, a calm horse wallpaper built around sand and sand tones. The frame is composed for 3:4, which is why it reads well on desktop without pushing the subject out of shot.

Everything you can see is part of the original file: 1920 × 2586 pixels in JPG (854 KB). Nothing is upscaled, and the colours were sampled straight from the picture, so what you download is what you saw in the grid.

The palette leans towards sand and sand, and that makes it easy to build an interface around it. A printed calendar works particularly well here, because the tones never fight with whatever you put in front of them.

Where it fits best

To use it, download the file, open it on your device and choose the option to set it as the background. If your system crops the edges, use the 3:4 version from the collection or turn the zoom off so the full frame stays visible.

Small details that help

• Pair it with a system accent colour that matches sand and sand so the wallpaper and the interface read as one design instead of two.
• Print it on matte paper: the sand and sand tones stay clean, while glossy paper exaggerates the highlights and washes the darks out.
• If you use it on a laptop, dim the desktop icons slightly; a busy wallpaper competes with small text more than with large text.

Download options

You get a 1920 × 2586 JPG file (3:4, 854 KB). It is large enough for a desktop screen and for printing up to A3 (297 × 420 mm), and it is compressed for the web so that it still loads quickly on a mobile connection.
