Horse Wallpapers for Tablet — 16:10

7 images of Horse Wallpapers for Tablet (16:10) in high resolution. Free download, with the author and licence of every picture.

A tablet is usually propped up on a desk and looked at from a distance, which is a very different viewing condition from a phone held in the hand. The pictures on this page hold their detail at that distance, with large shapes and a clear subject instead of fine texture that disappears. They also stay calm enough to work next to, which is the part most wallpaper collections forget.

This page gathers 7 images from the Horse Wallpapers collection, chosen because they are composed in portrait, the orientation the Tablet screen uses (16:10). Every one of them is taller than it is wide, so the system crops almost nothing when it fills the screen.

The full files run from 1920 × 2560 to 1920 × 3079 pixels, and every card states the exact ratio of its own picture so you can check the framing before downloading. Your Tablet runs at 1600 × 2560 pixels, so a larger file is scaled down with no visible loss.

The list includes, among others, Head of Pluto the Horse by Wouter Verschuur Rijksmuseum Amsterdam RP-T-1971-61, Portrait of Przewalski's Horse, Portrait Friese, The horse in the stable and the field 4.

If you want a specific look, use the filters and the tags under each section. Narrowing by colour, device or mood is faster than scrolling, and the tag pages link to every related picture so you never hit a dead end.

The images are ordered by how recently they were added rather than by popularity, which keeps the collection fresh and gives every single entry a chance to be discovered by search engines and by image browsers.
